The PLC-READY association has defined its 2008 goals of deliverables and standardization & label roadmap as followed:
Deliverables for 2008-2009
- To release proposals of « PLCready » guidelines applying to electrical installations and equipments connected to the main
- To submit these proposals to the French and European Standardization Committees (UTE, CENELEC )
- To define and establish the appropriate guidelines and procedures to verify the compliance of the electrical installation and all the in-house equipments connected on the main, to these standardization proposals
- To define terms and conditions for an independent laboratory to release the label of approval
2008-2009 roadmap
- To release 2 standardization proposal documents , for the PLC-Ready label , dedicated to :
- consumer electronic equipment
- electrical installation of a certain type (the type will be defined through a classification TBD)
- To apply the label procedure on certain class of installation and some pre-listed equipments defined by the Association
